Bombala Caravan Park NSW

Bombala Caravan Park is right on the banks of the Bombala River and is just a 2 minute walk to the main street.  Platypus are often seen in the River below the Park and there is a great little walking track along the River bank.  The facilities are well maintained and the park is nice and shady.  There is a community garden across the road and Park patrons can go over and help themselves to produce when it is available.

Bombala is known as Platypus Country due to the high density of platypus in its rivers and streams.  A Platypus Reserve is located 4.5kms out of town with a viewing platform out over the river.  Visitors staying at Bombala Caravan Park often report that they have seen a platypus in the river below the Park. Bombala is surrounded by the South East National Parks so there are plenty of opportunities for visitors to enjoy the beauty of tall, mature, eucalypts forests.
