A beautiful oasis located in the heart of Oberon. The closest caravan park to the world's renowned Jenolan Caves and Kanangra walls in the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. A great place to base yourself while you explore the Blue Mountains, Bathurst or participate in some fantastic outdoor activities in Oberon.

Oberon is located on the western side of the Blue Mountains. 1 hour and 45 minutes drive from Penrith or 1/2 hour drive from Bathurst. Our park is located a short five minutes walk from the main street of Oberon.
Activities at Jenolan caravan park NSW
Although Jenolan caravan park is located in the centre of the Oberon township, the park has beautiful trees and fantastic birdlife. People come to Oberon to enjoy trout fishing, forest mushrooms, bushwalking, bike riding, horse riding and fossicking in addition to exploring the wonders of the Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Boyd National Park, the Blue Mountains, Zig Zag railway and Bathurst.

Jenolan caravan park offers eight two bedroom fully self contained cabins. All cabins have linen supplied to the master bed, reverse cycle air conditioners, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Some cabins have outdoor decks with tables and chairs. All cabins have paved parking areas at their front doors. Linen hire is available for the second bedroom if required. The park also offers 24 powered sites which are all large, grassy and have power, water and sullage points. The Jenolan caravan power sites can accommodate any type of vehicle - several small tents to the largest 5th wheeler. 16 unpowered sites are also available at Jenolan caravan park which are located in a bushier section of the park. The Jenolan caravan park unpowered sites offer visitors a "bush camping" feel whilst having the convenience of modern facilities. A brand new amenities block will be operational from mid-September 2009 and an upgraded BBQ/camp kitchen provides our campers with a communal area to cook and congregate.
How to get to Jenolan caravan park NSW
By car from Sydney: Follow the Great Western Highway through the Blue Mountains. Turn off just after Hartley (sign posted to Oberon/Jenolan Caves) follow this road through Hampton and then turn right onto Duckmaloi Road. Follow this into the main street of Oberon. Turn right into Ross Street (first street after the Royal Hotel) and follow the blue and white caravan signs. We are located in Cunynghame Street...our driveway is next to the tennis complex.
From Bathurst by car: Follow the Great Western Highway through Kelso and then right onto O'Connell Road (signposted to Oberon). Follow this road for 1/2 hour and you will come into the main street of Oberon.
Turn left into Ross Street (first street after the IGA supermarket) and follow the blue and white caravan signs. We are located in Cunynghame Street. Our driveway is next to the tennis complex.
Public transport unfortunately Oberon is not easily accessible by public transport with limited services available. We recommend people hire a car to fully appreciate the wonders that surround our region if they do not have their own mode of transport.
Best time to visit Jenolan caravan park
Summer offers beautiful mild days and cooler nights. Autumn is great for fabulous colour and Spring for fantastic blossoms and bulbs.
You should bring
Warm bedding and clothing. Temperatures can be very cold even in the middle of summer!
Jenolan caravan park facilities
- Tennis court hire (indoor and outdoor courts), and racquet and ball hire.
- Free DVD library and magazine swap.
- "Puppy poo pick up bags" and lucky dog treats for our four legged friends.
- Pets are allowed on a leash. A pet register must be signed at the time of check-in. Pets are not permitted inside cabin accommodation.
- Fire wood is available to purchase for Jenolan camp fire area (only to be used in low fire danger periods).
Other considerations when visiting Jenolan caravan park
Jenolan caravan park is located at the highest point of the Blue Mountains region and visitors should always bring warm bedding and clothing. Temperatures can be very cold even in the middle of summer! It is common to experience several seasons in one day.
