Scotts Head Holiday Park's natural surroundings offers beach break for surfers, fishing and snorkelling in spectacular waters. Scotts Head Holiday Park offers ocean beach just at the very front. The unspoilt clean beach is also accesible from many walkways through the dunes. The area around this holiday park offers great surfing as well as rock and beach fishing. Boat ramps are available at Big Beach and also at Warrell Creek. Little Beach is also popular for surfing and fishing.

Located adjacent to beautiful Forster Beach (Main Beach) with its spectacular headland, Scotts Head Holiday Park offers a relaxed holiday in a “back to nature” setting.

Activities

Surfing, boating, fishing, bush walking, whale watching, bird watching at magnificent coastal views. Whale watching season occurs between May and October. A viewing platform close to the base of the headland allows easy whale watching activities. The rainforest behind Scotts Head offers great opportunities for bushwalkers

How to get to here

Heading North: you head straight up the Highway. The park is approx 40 minutes past Kempsey. Turn left off the highway and travel aprox 8 km on scotts Head Road to get to the main township.

Heading South: keep on the highway, go through Macksville and aprox 2 km from Macksville turn right onto Scotts Head Road.

Best time to visit

Feb/March and October/November. The weather is at its best at these times and being outside of peak seasons the park is lovely and relaxed.

You should bring: Nothing in particualr is needed, just the ability to relax.

Facilities

Free gas barbecues, Children’s playground, Scotts Head Bowling Club is adjacent to the park. The club has two bowling greens, a restaurant and Sky channel facilities. Tennis courts and a sports field also adjoin the park. The local surf shop hires surfboards.Picnic tables and barbecues are also available. Nearby (2 minute walk) are cafes and the Scotts Head Bowling Club where meals are served any night of the week.
