Activities

Boasting 40kms of pristine coastline hugged by the Bundjulung and Broadwater National Parks preserving huge tracts of coastal heath, Evans Head is perfect for families, bushwalking, 4WD enthusiasts, beach, rock and river fishing. There’s a highly recommended surf break too! In springtime thousands of wildflowers dot the heath land which is a rich habitat for all sorts of wildlife, kangaroos, possums and goannas all year round. Razorback Lookout at Goanna Headland offers breathtaking sky and sea scapes along with a wide vista for watching whales, dolphins, surfers and sea faring vessels. Tennis courts, a skate park & 3-green bowling club are situated adjacent to the Park.

- Powered and unpowered sites - tents and vans • Van sites with ensuites • Motor home sites (dump point located beside Park)
- Self contained open plan cabins and cabins with a separate bedroom; all with internal ensuite, some with airconditioning, some with covered decks and most with all-weather covered alfresco entertaining areas (linen not included with cabins).

How to get to here

BY ROAD: Travel by car (just off the Pacific Hwy 2 hours south of Brisbane).
BY AIR: Evans Head Aerodrome available for private aircraft only.
BY OCEAN: Cross the bar at high tide, mooring available in safe waters of the small boat harbour or anchor up river.
