Fossicking for gem stones, birdwatching and fishing. Tingha is on Copes Creek where there are some rock formations. One is an Aboriginal site of significance called The Stone Woman. Two local museums offer a look into Tingha's past, including its large mining population and strong Chinese heritage. A theme farm 15kms from Tingha offers a fantastic day out for the family. There are two wineries within easy reach of the park.

By car: 25kms from Inverell or 69kms from Guyra on a good sealed road.
