Urunga Heads Holiday Park NSW

Urunga Heads Holiday Park is a relaxing park overlooking the river & the ocean; great for fishing, bowls or golf. Abundant birdlife throughout the lagoon and wetlands. With in half an hour you can be in the rainforest at Dorrigo.

Activities

Easy fishing from the front of the park adjacent to where two the rivers meet. Stroll the boardwalk across the lagoon and out to the ocean. Kids activities during holiday periods.

Types of accommodation

The park has 17 ensuite cabins ranging from 2 bedroom family cabins to 1 bedroom cabins for the couples. Cabins are fully equipped with all linen provided. Up to 96 powered and unpowered camping sites. All sites are flat grassy sites.

How to get to here

Urunga is located on the Pacific Highway 20 mins south of Coffs Harbour. The town also has a train station at which the XPT stops. The park is an easy 10 minute walk from the station.

Best time to visit

Good climate all year round. Easter and Christmas are very busy. But Urunga has a unique holiday atmosphere and what is considered to be the best climate in Australia.

Bring kids bikes & fishing gear.

Facilities

Camp kitchen with bbqs, fridge, microwaves and covered table and chairs. A TV room and mothers room. Free game and DVD hire. Once you have parked your car, you do not have to get back into it for the duration of your stay. All of the shops, bowling club & golf club, hotel or eateries are only a short 5 or 10 minute walk from the park. You do not necessarily need a vehicle during your holiday stay unless it is for further sightseeing.
